Brady and Nameless Baby Girl will be sharing a room once she arrives. Our third bedroom is downstairs and not a good option for a wee babe. We used to have three upstairs until my husband decided to turn two into one for a large master suite, long before me and way long before babies.
Brady's nursery was a labor of love that Guy and I poured our hearts into. What an exciting time in our lives: our first baby.
Blue and brown just won't due for a little girl, so back to the drawing board we go. I've searched and searched and I think blue and red is what I like the best. Also, this stops us from having to repaint the blue walls. I am planning on painting over the brown stripe though.
I put most of Brady's elephant stuff on craigslist and it is so bittersweet. I'm really excited to change it up and come up with a fun, bright room for my kiddos. The sentiment doesn't hit me until I'm looking at these photos, because its been a while since its actually looked like this. Now there are toys strung about, a toddler bed added in and the dresser has since broke.
Pictures to come soon once I get things finished, um, I mean started. Seen any better options for a shared boy and girl bedroom? It's not too late to change the plan!

my boy and girl are sharing a room, and the walls are a lighter gray/blue color and we plan on doing a beach theme! :) just a thought. my hubby and i are avid beach lovers, so it fits!
Brady's nursery was so beautiful but I love the direction you guys are going for the shared nursery!
I have also really been loving the aqua blue and orange pairings I've been seeing lately.
